What is the Jets Lacrosse Learn to Play Mini-Camp?
The Jets Lacrosse Club is dedicated to growing the game of lacrosse in the NE Denver / Park Hill / Central park / Northfield community.
The Learn-to-play mini camp is a 4 day clinic specifically designed to help new players get game-ready for the fall competitive season.
Participants might be brand new to lacrosse, or have some experience, but still working on the basics.
The Mini-Camp is the BEST way to get started playing lacrosse with full pads and be ready to play in competitive games.
What are the dates and location for the Fall Learn to Play Mini-Camp?
The Mini-Camp practice days are Tuesday 8/19 from 5:30-7:00, Thursday 8/21 from 5:30-7:00, Saturday 8/23 from 1:00-3:00, and Sunday 8/24 from 1:00-3:00 for a total of 7 hours of practice time.
All practices take place at Fred Thomas Park (2400 Quebec street, Denver, 80207)
What ages are eligible for the Learn to Play Mini-Camp?
How long is registration open for the Fall Learn to Play Mini-Camp?
Registration opens Tuesday, June 24th, and closes on Saturday, August 22nd.
You are only considered registered if you have completed the registration process, your player’s USA Lacrosse membership is up to date (through at least August 24th, 2025) and the registration fee is paid in full.
What is the registration fee for the Learn to Play Mini-Camp?
Registration fee is $75 per athlete.
Registration fee includes loaner equipment (while supplies last) a yard sign (if desired), and a Jets Lacrosse sticker!
Registration fee covers the costs associated with team and program equipment purchases (including balls, cones, practice equipment, field permits, coaching and coaching education expenditures, and other Administration costs.)
What do I need for the LPT Mini-Camp?
ALL participants must have active USA Lacrosse memberships, valid through the end of October (cost is about $30/year). For more info and to get a membership, please visit https://www.usalacrosse.com/membership
Equipment: Helmet, stick, and gloves are a minimum requirement for Learn to Play participants. Full equipment is preferred. Please visit our EQUIPMENT page for more information.

A $25 administrative fee for any program is nonrefundable. In addition, if a uniform order has been placed for your player prior to refund being requested, the cost of uniform is nonrefundable.
No refunds are awarded after the season has started
Do you offer scholarships?
We provide scholarships to qualifying families to defray the cost of participation please contact [email protected] to make a confidential scholarship request.
